The Italian Society of Pediatricians, Società Italiana Medici Pediatri (SIMPE)
SIMPE, the Italian Society of Pediatricians, is a scientific organization dedicated to promoting research, education, and scientific information in the pediatric field through innovative tools.
Considering the socio-economic, healthcare, and organizational context in which our country operates, it becomes evident that pediatrics requires greater momentum and adaptability to the evolving scenarios it faces daily: safeguarding children's health and providing support and guidance to families.
In this context, SIMPE operates on both scientific and educational levels, equipping pediatricians with new tools to enhance and measure the effectiveness of their actions. This enables them to practice modern, patient-centered pediatrics, with an increased focus on quality of care, clinical governance, and the sustainability of the National Health System (Servizio Sanitario Nazionale, SSN).
